The Ministry of Labour has presented the draft Royal Decree on working time registration, aiming to strengthen time control in Spanish companies and ensure workers’ rights to rest and work-life balance.
Current status: it has not yet been published in the Official State Gazette (BOE). Once approved and published, it will enter into force 20 days later. Meanwhile, this is a good time to review your processes and make sure your time tracking system meets the new requirements.
The decree must still be approved by the Council of Ministers and published in the Official State Gazette (BOE). Once published, there will be a 20-day implementation period. At JornAda we are monitoring the process to inform you and ensure seamless compliance.
